The Bavarian club could have won the league last week, but a win by Dortmund against Fortuna Dusseldorf means Bayern have to wait a bit longer.

The wait was finally over Tuesday night, as Bayern beat Werder Bremen away from home to finally clinch the title with two games to spare.

Robert Lewandowski scored the solitary goal of the game in the 43-minutes, as Bayern ran out 1-0 winners in Bremen.

Bayern Munich made just one substitute in a game that saw youngster Alphonso Davies redcarded.
