However, they won the second 3-1 thanks to a brace from Andreas Pereira and a goal from Tahith Chong.
Furthermore, the club added that some players took part in both games in order to increase their match sharpness. Balls were also disinfected during the game and water breaks were taken throughout.
United will look to extend their 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs side next week who will be without Dele Alli due to suspension.
